Storhamar have come to terms with Kenney Morrison for the rest of the 2017/18 campaign. The Lloydminster, Alberta, Canada native is a 25 year old former Calgary Flames right shooting D-man prospect weighing in at 94 kg’s standing tall at 188 cm. He is regarded as a two-way defenceman who can cover the blueline during powerplays.
After having completed 3 years at Western Michigan University the young defender has played 100+ games in the AHL for Andirondack Flames, Stockton Heat and Chicago Wolves. He’s also recorded 8 games for ECHL’s Quad City Mallards.
In Storhamar Morrison will take a welcome spot in the defensive line, a line that is quite thin at the moment containing 4 injured players.
We wish Kenney Morrison a warm welcome to our club.
