Kurt Davis joins Storhamar

January 7th 2019

US born Kurt Davis joins Storhamar for the rest of the season. The Plymouth, MN, native comes from a short spell in the EBEL for the Vienna Capitals.

Davis has played in Norway before, as he was a big contributor for a couple of Stavanger Oilers’s championships these past years, in the seasons 12/13 and 13/14. In the spring of 2014 he was voted into the All Star team in the league, and he also had most goals, assists and points by all the defensemen in the league.

Before joining Vienna this summer, Davis had played four years in the DEL for Düsseldorfer EG and for Krefeld.

Kurt Davis is mostly known for his offensive skills as a D-man with good hands, good puck handling, good read of the game and plays well at the blueline.

Storhamar’s newest addition to the squad will be playable as soon as the work permit and the transfer card is in order. At this time we don’t know when that will be. Anyway we wish him a warm welcome to Storhamar.
